Study Group Blues

It was a nite to remember. Since Group C1 is now dismantled, we guys went out to celebrate the completion of half-our MBA and being together.

Fusion 9 at its best. Great Jazz. Also a chance meeting with Prof. Bubna.

Awesome food. Steaks. Sizzlers. The works. All in all, a great nite.

The above pic is before dinner when we guys were starving. Especially Anshu. The poor guy skips lunch. Wonder how he survives.

This pic is right before we were heading back to ISB.

With Tummies Full (L to R) Ruchir, Shuchi (Ruchir's wife), Me, Neeraj, Rakesh (a.k.a. Doc), Sachin

Treat thrown by Doc and me. He'll be heading to Israel and me to the US for our 7th and 8th terms. Hope it adds to our fun and experience dimension (Yeeeeeeeeeeah Right :)).

I know he's secretly going for the girls.

And me, well, I'm just going with the flow and hope that I figure out what I want to do.

Hmmm..nothing that interesting tonite coz its 3.30 am and I'm too sleepy.
The toons on my jams are callin out to me... Time to sleep... ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Nitey-nite. Sweet Dreams.

P.S. I just realized. ISB's big on hugs. Everybody hugs around here :).

The Big Question & A New Term

Life hasn’t been really fair. But then who said it is? At times, it feels that there is no point doing the right thing. But I can’t help it. I can’t change that.

This past year has been filled with ups and downs. More downs than ups for sure.

We all fall down because of situations beyond our control. The only thing we really need is the strength to pick ourself up, weigh the remaining options, listen to your heart and if you still can’t do anything about it, just take it one step at a time and believe that your angel will guide you. Yup, I still believe in ‘em. I think we all have our own guardian angels or at least, someone or something that watches over us.

One step at a time, girl. One step at a time. That’s what works. For now.

Whew. Alright. That’s enough for one day.

Today’s Friday and I have a book review presentation on Wednesday.

Ok let’s shift gears to some gossip. Miss PT is a brave little girl. With 5 subjects this term and 4 of finance at that, the girl is truly turning into A SUPERWOMAN.
S and M are onto a prank to put X into a moral dilemma. Whew....I wonder how that will turn out.

Meanwhile, we went out on Tuesday to B & C… our regular haunt… It wasn’t all that packed coz it was a week night. But we had fun, as usual. On the way back at 1 am, the tyre gave out and our own mech Engg, JSM got the needful done. Finally we made it home around 3 am and crashed.

5 of us are onto a project. We gotta do in-depth interviews, focus groups, surveys. Our topic? shoes/sportwear – adidas and reebok..should be fun though.

We thought we should go for socks.
Do adidas socks or do reebok socks stink more if worn for longer periods of time? Which stink do you like better? Naughty naughty.

Or maybe we should do Jockey instead.
Why do you prefer Jockey? Is it the fit? The ease of taking it on/off?
Oooooooooooh yeah, I can see where this might go.

Well, I gotta go start reading the book now. Everybody loves a good drought by P.Sainath.
437 pages. FRONT AND BACK. Wish me luck.

Catch ya later.

Freedom@Nite

Hey Bloggie,

I'm Back!!!

Ooooooh.. do u know how it feels when u have absolutely nothing to do? It's the sweet thing most of us call Freedom, yeah the big "F" (Naughty naughty !!!) ... Especially after the damn Investment Analysis exam today which was by far the worst exam I have ever, ever and I have to say ever (again!!!) written.

Tonight, we're finally over our exam blues and a bunch of us are heading to TDS. Ten Downing Street. Getting drunk, falling all over each other, catching early morning flights tom... That's what you would see tonite if any of u manage to find your way to any of the hot spots in town. I must say I must be one of the sober girls out here tonite.. teetotaler and all...

Miss PT's heading home and so am I but tonite, it's party time. I'm hopin for some Scott Stapp tonight. Really miss his voice these days ;-)

On a sober note, the housekeeping@ISB has changed our lovely couches to a dull brown... Somehow it isn't the same watching TV sitting on the new couches. It's that comfort and worn out feeling that gives the feeling of being home. Yup, and ISB is now almost home.. But more about that later..

Tonite belongs to the nonsensical and ridiculous. Oh yes, I must talk to you about Mr. AA. He visits our quad quite regularly and insists on making a MAID out of Miss PT. Miss PT gives him a drink, stuff to hog and waits on him hand and foot. Oh yes, Miss PT is definitely "Maid For Him".

Well, JSM's out here now..so I'm gonna run for a pepsi :)..Really really thirsty...

Ta-da.. Kisses...

Dear Boggie,
Yes... that's what I call my blog. Decided to keep it in tone with my various moods and tonite, it's getting a little thoughtful.

Is life really full circle? Right now it seems to be really really curvy... life keeps throwing these curveballs and u really don't know where you're heading.Atleast I know where I'm heading right now. Time to hit my books.

One thing I learnt yet again today. People really aren't what they seem (DUH???). Some of them will restore your faith in the good things. Some will teach you to be cautious in the future. It's all about learning. That's what my mum would say... And she's right.

First post. Hence, short n sweet. Besides, I got GSB (Government, Society n Business) and IA (Investment Analysis)...YIKES.. to study..

Sleep tight.
