Turning up the heat!

Things are getting sizzliiiiiiiing hot in TX!

Went driving in the US of A. Managed to survive without bruising the car. It's easier went you aren't literally kissing the car in front of you (bumper-to-bumper traffic akin to that in Bangalore)

Also managed to turn on the fire alarm in the apartment. BEEP-BEEP-BEEP-BEEP.Now, visualize the firetrucks and ambulances running to the scene of the so-called fire? Well, that didn't happen.

S is onto full time RJing and its awesome. Takes me back to the times when we were both just starting it off as a hobby!

And well, here I am, a long way from home and looking forward to the Harvard experience.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Wicked!

High School - Done
Engineering - Done
MBA - Done
Harvard - Starts this month

Oh boy! Can't believe I managed to study this much!

Currently, am chilling out in the lone-star state and will be moving to Cambridge soon.
TX is fun. It's got hot blondes, happenin music, bright sunny days and a Gujju Aunty staying bang opposite.

Visited Newark, NJ last weekend. Man, I've never seen so many desis in one city. Felt like I was back in India. S got hooked and we went partying in NY. Saw Spiderman dashing down Times Square, ducks, dogs and the like.

This was a time that got me thinking. Isn't it funny how we take the little things for granted?
For instance, what if you gotta really really go to the loo if you're on the plane and the seatbelt sign is switched on? The terrible stink that seems to surround the airplane loo is out of the world.
What about the stewards? The US crew can't even begin to compare to the Indian private airlines. Forget the crew, you don't get food. Just some biscuits/chips and blah. Apart from that, they always seem to run out of blankets just when you need it. But then that's how they keep the costs down, isn't it? Or is it?

Today, we had brunch in ihop. 3 fluffy buttermilk pancakes, maple syrup and an awesome omelette with mushrooms, tomatoes, pepper, cheese, the works. Black bean soup. Yummy. My tummy feels like an over-inflated balloon with all the food that's in there.

Yawn. I need to sleep. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
